New home base and office

Rachel and I have bought a piece of land with a small cabin that needs work on Hornby island in BC. We will be living here full time from now on. Our small cabin needs a new metal roof to collect rain water, a shop setup, and many other projects that we will be working on full time this summer getting it ready for the winter.

I will be really busy till September. We don’t have a phone line yet or WIFI. To answer WIFI questions I have to drive down to the cove where our boat is moored. So be patient please.

The plan is to get sorted by September and then I will get back to designing and drawing along with my art.

Don’t ask questions here. Email them to me at….spankthermaid@gmail.com

It’s way easier for me via my email address.

Thanks,

Hello, I have been very intrigued reading and browsing multiple build threads using your designs. I want to build my own skiff and everyone that I came across, I felt like something was lacking in the design and build. Then I came across your designs. It clicked. Yes that is what I want to build. I would like to inquire about purchasing plans for the beryllium skiff. Does it come with the different options? Does it come with the cnc programs? Thank you for doing what you do and the work and craftsmenship that goes into it.

    • Justin,
The beryllium skiff can be built in 3 different lengths from 18.9”, 17.5, and 16’. It have a flat stern or rounded corner stern option. All 3 lengths can be built with a tunnel. You have the option to use conventional flat chines or my inset chine version. You also can build them with a vee bottom or did the bottom pad. All of the above are outlined with the plans. You can purchase a build jig from a supplier. CNC files could be had for cutting out your own stations if needing. It takes 3-4 hours to draw out by hand though.
Plans cost $350.00. Contact Nathan Shawl at yachtcad@gmail.com to purchase. Included in the plans are many build and material supply links. Thanks for the interest, my email for more questions is spankthemermaid@gmail.com
